We can design, program, implement and train users as a complete A to Z package. We have specialized in an "Integrated Systems" approach encompassing data input, storage, retrieval and distribution in a modern up to date environment. By having this approach we plan from a strategic business orientated perspective and encompass the tactical requirements as required within that vision.
The following are a few that we have developed:
This database allows our Client to see how much alcohol is being supplied to their customers. Each Customer gets a permit allowing them to buy a certain amount of alcohol in liters per year. This database tracks all of the permits for all of the customers (taken from MYOB Customer File through ODBC). Every time alcohol is sold to a customer the database automatically looks up the records form the invoice file which have alcohol in them, works out how many liters there is and then subtracts that number from the total number of liters that customer is allowed. When the customer falls below a certain amount the system advises the customer service personnel that the customer is over their limit so the customer can be informed that they need a new permit.
This database tracks the machine utilization of some of our Client’s filling machines. Each machine can be tracked to see its efficiency over a set period. Because down time is a major problem all machine problems are tracked to see what the most common causes of line stoppages are and commonly occurring problems can be solved permanently.
This
database prints delivery labels for pallets of stock in a Client's dispatch
department.
It uses a laser printer with adhesive labels permanently loaded.
When stock is picked and ready for dispatch the operator selects the
invoice from a drop box and presses the print button and a label automatically
prints with the customers delivery information from the invoice header. This
has minimized mistakes and illegible hand writing.
Similar
to the database above this database uses a report formatted for the couriers
consignment notes which are permanently loaded in a dot matrix printer.
When the stock is ready to be dispatched the operator enters the invoice
number in a drop down box of the database.
This prints our the consignment note with all the relevant information
and saves about 5 minutes of handwriting time per consignment note.
Over a week this database alone saves a couple of hours per person in the
dispatch department and stops stock from being sent to the wrong address.
This database was commissioned to sort out a Client's handling of stock batch numbers (vital for this Client) and the physical locations of their stock. The product worked in the following manner:-
· All stock that was manufactured was given a batch number, which tied into business manager through the purchase order module.
· All pallet bays in the Client's Warehouses (four distinct separate physical locations) were entered into a database.
· Stock was allowed to be split by batch into various locations. (Business Manager allows various warehouse locations but only one bin location per stock item.) This allowed the Client to look up in their database where each individual item of stock was kept and which batch was where to ensure that correct stock rotation was occurring.
This
database tracks the raw materials that are used in batches of pharmaceutical
goods. If there is a problem with a
raw material a recall can quickly and easily be made as the Client can see what batches they have used
in that stock and recall them if necessary.
All customers that that stock has been sold to can be easily looked up
and contacted.
This
database produces Business Manager Invoices and Purchase orders as a custom
database report which allows the user to decide whether they want to print the report to
a laser printer, network fax modem or to an e-mail using Microsoft Exchange.
